BIOGRAPHY

Mark Choi

Piano

Mark is an Ivor Novello-nominated composer primarily for video games, with a background as a classically trained pianist from the Royal Academy of Music. He is a BAFTA Games Connect member and is represented by The Composerworks.

His latest game is Tower Five’s Pégases-winning and Gamescom-nominated Empire of the Ants (for which he garnered the Ivors nomination). As a pianist, he has recorded and performed in prestigious venues such as Abbey Road Studios and Southbank Centre, as well as at notable events including the Golden Joystick Awards and Wireless Festival @ Hyde Park.

Since 2015, he has been Resident Composer of Whole Hog Theatre, a company that exclusively creates Anglo-Japanese and anime-to-stage adaptations. Their latest show was the world premiere of The Garden of Words (言の葉の庭) Official Stage Production, based on a film by one of anime's most beloved directors, Makoto Shinkai. Mark received an Offies nomination for his score in August 2023.

In 2024, maestro Borislav Slavov commissioned Mark to create an official piano version of Down By The River for the Baldur's Gate 3 Deluxe Edition Vinyl release. Mark was also nominated for a Game Music Remix Award in both 2021 and 2023.

Amelia Jones

Vocal

Amelia is a classical crossover vocalist and recording artist whose voice has captivated millions worldwide. Born in Wales and raised in Australia, she studied at WAAPA and the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, developing a voice known for its power, emotion, and versatility.

An accomplished performer across early and contemporary music, Amelia has appeared as a soloist with the Fulltone Orchestra, English Symphony Orchestra, Southbank Sinfonia and The London Video Game Orchestra. She is a member of the renowned Irish vocal ensemble ANÚNA.

Her career in video game music has spanned over a decade, featuring on titles such as Hollow Knight, Slay the Princess, Alan Wake 2, and Nightingale. Her vocals in Hollow Knight’s City of Tears have resonated with over 20 million players. Recently, she collaborated with the legendary Sam Lake and Petri Alanko on Alan Wake 2’s final DLC song End of An Era. In 2024, Slay the Princess by Brandon Boone, featuring Amelia’s vocals, won the World Soundtrack Award for Best Video Game Score. 

Amelia was the featured soloist in PAX Aus UnderSCORE, the first symphonic concert dedicated entirely to Australian video game music, performing to an audience of 5,000. ABC Classic described her as “a strong vocal presence in Australian video game music.” Now based in the UK, Amelia regularly collaborates with composers to shape unique musical landscapes. She is thrilled to be part of Sonaris Ensemble, where her love for chamber music and video game scores collide.

Lucia La Rezza

Violin

Lucia is a London-based virtuoso electric/acoustic violinist, video game composer and multi-instrumentalist. She has recorded for numerous video game and animation soundtracks, metal bands and commercial albums. In addition to performing, she works as a social media manager in the gaming industry, leveraging her expertise in audience engagement and content strategy.

Classically trained, Lucia graduated with excellence in solo violin performance in 2015 at the Paisiello Institute and Piccinni Conservatoire (Bari, Italy).

Since 2013, Lucia has performed at major gaming and pop culture events across Europe. Some examples include playing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2019, 2022) with Intermundia in sold-out venues and performing at Lucca Comics & Games (2016 to 2018), Europe’s largest comic festival. In 2022, she shared the stage with Grammy Award-winning artist KOFFEE. Recent experiences include recording at Abbey Road Studios as first violinist and performing at the Golden Joystick Awards (2024), where she arranged a video game music medley in collaboration with Daryl Leigh Lynn.

With over 1.5 million YouTube views and 20K+ followers across social media, Lucia is a self-managed artist who directs and produces her own music, performances and content.

Natalia Wierzbicka

Viola

Natalia is a Polish violinist and violist, based in London, UK. A graduate from Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance (Violin Performance), London College of Music (Composition for Film and TV) and the Royal Academy of Music (Viola Performance) Natalia is known as a session musician for established artists, theatre productions and as an educator, working across four schools in London.

Some of her recording and performing credits include working for artists such as: Chaka Khan, Arthur Verocai, Sophie Lloyd, Lzzy Hale, Years and Years and Rema. Recently she has also made her debut with the London Contemporary Orchestra, performing for a concert version of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey at the Southbank Centre, in London, UK.

An experienced orchestral player, Natalia has led and performed in orchestral projects in collaboration with the Philharmonia Orchestra, the London Mozart Players, BBC Concert, BBC Symphony Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra and was the principal violist in the outreach orchestral project - Street Orchestra Live. She was also the principal viola in Earth Orchestra recording with George Fenton and is the principal violist for Symphonica and Mr Switch, a DJ and orchestra collective currently touring the UK. Natalia is also the director of a versatile string collective - Sinfonia Diverse.

In addition to live performances to audiences of up to 80,000, Natalia has performed for radio including BBC Radio 2's show with Jamie Callum and for studio sessions at some of the world’s most established recording studios including Abbey Road and BBC Maida Vale.

Sarah Davison

Cello

Sarah Davison is a highly versatile cellist, performing in both orchestral and chamber music settings across the UK. A seasoned session musician, she is a regular at iconic London studios such as Abbey Road and Air Studios, recording on TV, film, and video game soundtracks including Wicked, Snow White, Alien Romulus, and as a soloist on The Winter King, Treason, Horizon Zero Dawn, Horizon Forbidden West.

In 2020, Sarah took up the viola da gamba, which she now enjoys incorporating into her work. Her ability to improvise and adapt has led to collaborations on the Horizon games franchise, Manor Lords, Dr. Jekyll, and numerous other soundtracks.

Sarah’s early career began as a Junior Fellow in Chamber Music at the RWCMD. She went on to tour on Yehudi Menuhin’s prestigious Live Music Now! scheme as a member of the Mavron String Quartet, leading outreach workshops in diverse communities for the Cavatina Chamber Music Trust. Her career spans multiple genres, ranging from performances with the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, to appearances at The Brits and The Royal Variety Performance. Notable highlights include collaborating with jazz singer Claire Martin OBE and the Montpellier Cello Quartet on the critically acclaimed album Time and Place, supporting Ben Folds Five and performing with Lady Walton in Italy.

Passionate about using music for social good, Sarah has worked on several projects with the award-winning Brighton based charity, New Note Orchestra, which supports individuals affected by addiction, homelessness, and mental health challenges through music, storytelling, and dance.
